Once in a distant village, there lived four best friends: Ivan, Peter, Alexey, and Dmitriy. They were inseparable companions and did everything together – from working in the fields to spending evenings over a glass of wonderful beer.
One summer day, when the heat became unbearable, they decided it was time to go to the bathhouse to cool off and relax. They gathered their birch brooms, soap, and other belongings, and set off down the road towards the local bathhouse.
When they arrived at the bathhouse, they noticed that it was quite old and run-down. Nevertheless, the men didn’t hesitate – they needed to relieve the tension from their hard work and enjoy the steam and good company.
They undressed and entered the steam room. Soon, the bathhouse was filled with the aroma of oak brooms, the sound of water splashing, and the joyful laughter of friends. Ivan, Peter, Alexey, and Dmitriy kept going back for more rounds of steam. They felt how they were freeing themselves from worries, how every drop of sweat turned into freedom and happiness.
However, following a good tradition, they had snacks and beer that they indulged in between their bath sessions. And when they returned to the steam room after a delicious picnic, something unexpected happened. One of them accidentally spilled beer on the stove, causing a sudden burst of steam. The stove caught fire, and the men found themselves surrounded by flames.
At first, they were scared and panicked, but soon they realized that they needed to stay calm and act quickly. Dmitriy grabbed a bucket of water and started pouring it on the fire while the others extinguished the flames with their towels. Thanks to their quick reaction and collective efforts, they managed to put out the fire.
The men were shaken but grateful that they had survived. They realized that the strength of their friendship and mutual support had enabled them to overcome this terrifying moment in the bathhouse. They thanked each other and vowed to always stand by each other in difficult situations.
Since then, they treated fire more cautiously in the bathhouse and always remembered that incident. It served as a reminder of the importance of their friendship and the power of unity.
